Dear Rev Fr RJK, she had filed this petition on behalf of Palayam Parish, (St. James Church, Palayam) since she is the secretary of the parish council she is the appropriate one to file the same.
ReplyDeleteAlso this post appears like you are taking vengeance of her activity on social media. If really you have anything to oppose the petition then you should have taken it through legal route.
And you don’t have the right to put her pics in the blog but you may post the petition copy. I request you to remove the pics urgently from the social media.
Moreover the petition is a reflection of the collective decision of the Palayam parish against the proposed construction for the well being & communal harmony of the surrounding villages.
You played divisive politics among the Palayam community and ensured the feud/enmity increase day by day and so on. You never tried for peace and reconciliation of the groups to come together.
I could not understand what gain you are going to get with this. I surprise, is this the value which was taught in your seminary?
You never understand what the situation was for years together before the tragic day in 2008. You had never seen our happiness when in unity, fun when in unity, growth initiatives when in unity, brotherhood when in unity, friendship when in unity, sharing when in unity and love when in unity.
Still I feel like crying whenever the festivities comes like Christmas, Ten days church fest, Holy week celebrations, etc, which we had celebrated together for so many years, and after 2008, I could not enjoy at the fullest any of these fest. I believe same would be the feeling of others from both the sides.
You never wanted all this to happen again because you are a passing cloud and you don’t belong to our land. Building a church may be a career milestone to you, but it always going to remain as a symbol of separation & hatred.
Finally once again I am requesting you, since this post appears to be sensitive against an individual, I demand you to show some level of maturity and urgently remove it from the blog.

DeleteIt would be much pleasure for replying for your comments. Looks like you will appreciate other blogs with photograph if it is good and he posted lot of photographs of you as well. This blog is helping our parish people to know what is going on our parish especially who are not living locally from our parish.
Right now let me come to the point; I couldn't understand the meaning of unity which you have mentioned. Could you please list out the corrective actions which was taken out for unity. Simply, For your end you fulfilled all your requirements and deals, for the other end you are not allowing them to live or even to die, that’s the scenario which is creating out of this writ. Is it the Bridge for unity on your dictionary? I believe this is 100 percent wrong move; it will not help for the unity. WRIT will make one side win and the other side will be lost. But in this case it will make the same side win or lose. Because you don’t have to lose anything, since you have your own dream church with your ideas, with your effort, with your participation and contribution. You should remember, it wasn't a big deal to file a writ for stay while construction of St. James Church. The answer is No one wants to go against the churches and get the curses out of that because they believe in Christianity. Church is a place for worship with peace and love. Actually what are the criteria behind this? They should not build this church. They should live without church. This is simply showing the arrogance and vengeance reminding the character of IS terrorist which they are destroying churches in IRAQ, SYRIA and making those people living without church and pushing them for conversion. This is also a type of pressure given these peoples to surrender themselves.
Let me ask you one question: Why are you working in Gujarat and living without your father, mother, and your brother? Why don’t you live with them locally to have unity and happiness on day to day basis? Then only you will know what was the root cause, who was the root and what was the politics played by some genius. Church is not an entertainment place whenever you come for vacation and have fun and posting some bullshits on blogs. You are pointing out this Parish priest for all the issues. Is he a parish priest from 2008? The church is the gathering of the believers who come together to participate in fellowship with one another as they worship God and hear from His Word, the Bible. Don’t use it for your personal interests!

DeleteTo the point, I understood whom you are portraying as the creator of all these mess. Just turn back to the past, I am damn sure that 90% out of those who want a church at road side now, never ever had thought for such a weird idea some years back (which ultimately led this partition and all these unwanted chaos).
This is simply because of the other 10%, who firstly impregnated that idea in their (90%) mind in the name of development and blossom it and never allowed the idea to wither whenever efforts were put to convince the 90%. Just assume if other church is also built, in the place one we are going to have a two big churches in Palayam, on the contrary, collectively we limited the development of our village otherwise we would have put the second church effort in another developmental activity that too in harmony. Together we could have achieved alot.
Because of this poisonous idea originated in one of the guy among you some years back even before the tragic day in 2008, things have changed dramatically.
Now you are questioning me about the unity, where was the unity gone then, I am asking to the 10%, didn’t you ever think that everybody in the parish will support the church at road side? Or else you didn’t even bother the feeling of others who has difference of opinion? And you got the ability to convince the 90% people who are actually in dilemma, by simply cheating them with words like “we have influence in DMK or ADMK” & “Wait!! Wait!! This fellow granted permission that govt body granted permission!!!”, “within few days we will get permission or within few months we will get permission”. What is this?
I still believe now also same thing is going to happen, that you are going to lie the poor 90% people, this impediment also get cleared in few years consequently you will not allow their religious requirements at the fullest.
You said these people are living without church, don’t think you are the best advocate for them, just think, my dear people of palayam, you were not a part of St.James Church? Whose church it was then, yours too....
Now you tell me who had played a dirty politics for their selfish dream, if things had not been turned that way, the so called dream of building one more church would have never existed. You made every mistake by brain washing with this odd idea at the very beginning in the common man and now you blame the people who tried to stop this. And please don’t create an image you were so open to resolve the issue amicably. Whenever peace meetings had been conducted you were also reluctant to come to a resolution.
I appreciate Fr RJK, for his best efforts of sharing what is happening in and around the parish for the good of knowledge of the people who work outside. But this particular post, I am not comfortable with, that’s why I registered my opinion in my previous reply.
I don’t understand why everybody in this thread is posting their comment as an anonymous; let’s make it a healthy & clean discussion. Let it be a cultured argument, and something could come out productively.

Fathers, that only we studied in our sunday classes. but here i m seeing that everyone using very bad words against Rev. fathers. this will create the bad impression to our Hindu and Muslim friends, also everyone know nowadays in BJP govt giving so much pressure in our Christianity. so please dont fight also dont use this type of words against Rev. அன்னையின் ஆலயம் வரத் தடை போடறீங்க, அன்னையே பார்த்துக்கொள்வார்.நான் உயிரோடு இருக்கும் வரை கோவில் கட்டவிடமாட்டேன் என்று சூளுரைத்தவர்கள் உண்டு . எங்கள் வேண்டுதல் எல்லாம் ஆலயம் கட்டி முடியும் முன் அவர்கள் இறந்துவிடக்கூடாது என்பதே. அன்னை வெற்றி பெறுவாள். ஆலயம் உருவாகும். திருவிழாவை நிறுத்தி விடலாம். அதை செய்தவர்களின் அழிவை நிருத்தமுடியாது. ஊரை பிரித்து, மக்களை அலைக்கழித்து, அழிவைத் தேடிக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறீர்கள்.
