Greeting from the Parish of Murasancode.
It
is evident after the meeting of Diocesan Consult today, that the
co-pastor Fr. Antony Jayakodi is to be transferred soon, though he is
yet to complete his term, but just crossed nine months.
At this point, I would like to remind your Excellency, the
need of a young co-pastor who can exercise his priestly ministry with
vigour and missionary zeal. For, Murasancode Parish is probably the
rarest with many stations namely, Murasancode, Elanthavilai, Palayam,
Kannode, Komanvilai, Kottavilai, and Palayam Annai Nager. So also the
Holy Masses, to be mentioned - Sundays:
5.30 am at Elanthavilai;
7 am at Komanvilai;
7.30 am at Murasancode;
9 am at Palayam;
10 am
at Kannode; Mondays: Alternatively at the Convent in the morning and
anbiyam Mass in the evening / Communion to the Sick in the Stations;
Tuesdays:
5.30 pm at Elanthavilai;
7 pm at Kottavilai on 1st and 3rd weeks;
6.30 pm at Komanvilai on 2nd and 4th week; Wednesdays:
5.45 pm at Murasancode and Communion to the Sick in the hospitals; Thursdays:
5.30 pm at Palayam;
6.30 pm at Kannode; Fridays:
5.30 pm at Murasancode; Saturdays:
6.15 am at Murasancode - Mass for the Children;
6.30 pm
at Palayam Annai Nager on 2nd and 4th week / Prayer, communion and care
for the Cancer Patients in the Neyyoor International Cancer Center.
Besides, Children to Parish Pastoral Council, meetings to be conducted with out fail.
